Service System User Manual

Dear client,

our recently introduced Ticket System has made it easier for you to notify us about any errors or problems, or to submit your ideas and further suggestions (all of which will represent a so-called "ticket"). This system has greatly improved our support structure, which has now become more efficient. You may access the customer service portal of the Ticket System on the following website http://service.autowork.com Alternatively, there is a link to this area on our regular website www.autowork.com, in the Support/Service Request menu.

If you have not yet registered and set up a user account, please follow the instructions on how to register and set up your personal account, in order to take advantage of our broad range of support services.

The Autowork Service Portal

 

This is the homepage of our service portal, which you can find at the following web address: http://service.autowork.com. The following will give a simple and precise explanation of how the system works.

Setting up a Customer Account in the Service Portal

 

 

As indicated in the screen shot, please use the function at the top left in the marked area to register and set up your customer account. This should be your first step. Make sure that you enter an e-mail address, under which you can be contacted, in the "E-Mail" field. After clicking the "Create" button, a confirmation e-mail is sent to the e-mail address you entered in the "E-Mail" field. This e-mail contains all further information on how to register in our service portal, as well as an automatically generated password. Having successfully completed the login process, you should change your password. Below you will also find a detailed description of how to change your password.

Summary: To register your customer account, you require your user name (your e-mail address) and password.

Logging in to the portal

This is the area of the website where you register with your registration data. Once you have successfully registered, you are in our service portal as a registered client.

Purpose of the Service Portal

Here you have the possibility of reporting a failure or incident, or any other reports, viewing your open requests (tickets), as well as adjusting personal settings such as language or layout. You can create a ticket by clicking the "New ticket" item in the main menu.

Creating a ticket

 

This area contains a form which you need to fill in. The first entry is made in the "To" field, where the recipient is entered. You can always select "Autowork Support Team" if you do not know who to address. Enter the nature of your report in the reference field, as is customary in e-mail correspondence. In the text area, you may now enter in detail the nature of your problem or incident, or your ideas and suggestions. The "Attachments" field allows you to send us files pertaining to your request (e.g. company logos, screen shots, etc.) The "Search" item allows you to select the required file and to attach it to your message using the "Attach" item. Using the “Priority” field, you may select the desired importance of your message. Then click the "Submit" button. Now we have received your request and will process your request as quickly as possible.


In the next step we will check internally, whether your request still leaves us with some unanswered questions. Should this be the case, we will contact you in order to clarify them. Following this, we will decide whether or not the problem must be solved at the customer's premises. If this is the case, a support representative will be sent out to you in order to fix the trouble. Otherwise, the support representative will fix the trouble remotely from our premises. In the event that a third party needs to be involved to fix the trouble, the third party will also be involved in finding the right solution.

After your ticket has been successfully resolved, the nature of the error and its solution are documented, and the case will be closed successfully.

Resetting your password


The marked area on the screen shot above indicates a function which can be used when you require a new password. It will be dispatched to your given e-mail address. You may use this function when you have lost or forgotten your password. Once you have submitted your user name, you will receive an e-mail after a few minutes from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Then a new, automatically generated password will be sent to your e-mail address, which will allow you to register on the website.
